In 2000 the company bought "Scattergun Technologies" and markets combat shotguns under the name Wilson Combat Scattergun Technologies

Springfield Armory, Inc. is an American firearms manufacturer and importer based in Geneseo, Illinois, founded in 1974. It is one of the largest firearm companies in the world.The company is a four-time recipient of the National Rifle Association (NRA) American Rifleman's Golden Bullseye award.
The company's main products are M1911 pistols, and the M1A rifle series. It has been importing the Croatian HS2000 pistol as the XD ("X-Treme-Duty") series since 2002. Previously the company offered clones of the M1 Garand, Beretta BM59, FN FAL, HK 91, and M6 Scout. They have also imported Tanfoglio and Astra semi-automatic pistols under the Springfield name.

The company was founded to market the sporting (non-military) designs of John Browning, one of the world's most prolific firearms inventors. Nearly all of John Browning's innovative designs have been manufactured under license by other companies, including Winchester, Colt, Remington, Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal of Belgium, and Miroku. Browning is currently a fully owned subsidiary of FN Herstal.
Nighthawk Custom was formed in 2004 Berryville, Arkansas, USA by a group of four talented individuals who had a true passion for the 1911 platform.
Nighthawk Custom has expanded the product line from the original two models, the GRP and Talon, to over 40 unique and custom versions of the 1911. Nighthawk Custom began offering a line of revolvers in 2016. These top-tier revolvers were the result of a collaboration with Korth-Waffen of Lollar Germany.
